Lucy’s biog: Health Editor Lucy has a passion for all things fitness, wellbeing and nutrition. Not only does she oversee all of Future’s Women’s Lifestyle vertical health and fitness content, she is also a personal trainer, specialising in pre and post natal fitness and teaches at various London studios. At 6.30 every morning you’ll catch her at the gym racking up some precious "me-time".

Elisa’s biog: A chef and journalist who oversees all of Future’s women’s lifestyle vertical food content, Elisa trained under British TV chef Jamie Oliver and has worked at some of London’s best Michelin starred kitchens. Elisa has cooked for Oprah Winfrey, Sir Paul McCartney and at Number 10 Downing Street.

Warming Gingerbread Overnight Oats

Products needed:

  • Kilner jar 
  • Small wooden spoon 

Ingredients needed:

  • Bag of rolled oats 50g (need half a cup) 
  • Carton of milk (need half a cup)
  • Bottle/jar molasses  (1 tbsp) 
  • Bag of demerara sugar or brown sugar (1/2tsp)
  • Carton of salt (pinch)
  • Bag of pecans (2tbsp chopped)
  • Bag of  mixed spice (1/2tsp) Carton of almond milk (need 2 thirds of a cup)
  • Bag of cranberries (2tbsp)

Warming Ginger Overnight Oats  Method:

Place oats, milk, molasses, sugar, spice and salt in a container with a tight fitting lid. Shake to combine. Place container in the fridge overnight. Heat overnight oats in the morning, adding milk as needed. Taste and add more sweetener or spice to taste. Sprinkle with toppings.
